Will we take up the cross?
Brrr... the weather aint getting any warmer. On the contrary, its getting colder.. Chew on it:To fear Your power, to trust Your grace,Is our divinest skill; And he's the wisest of our raceThat best obeys Your will.Issac Watts
Haha! As im posting this, Im sure lots of you are in school "enjoying" the wonderful and uninteresting lessons being conducted by those things :) Well on to another topic. Whats the problem with people nowadays? Is it really the in thing to smoke in lifts? Damn! you people stink up the whole lift man. We die of 2nd hand cigarettes because of you "generous" contributions. Thanks alot yeah.
As from today all the devotions will be removed due to copyright. Im sorry for any problems caused and i sincerely apologise if i was a stumbling block to anybody.
Let us follow Jesus closer; let us walk in His steps where it will cost us something more than it is costing us now; let us pledge not to do anything without first asking: 'What would Jesus do?' If I should go before them with that message, it would be a strange and startling one to them. But why? Are we not ready to follow Him all the way? What is it to be a follower of Jesus? What does it mean to imitate Him? What does it mean to walk in His steps?"
"Must Jesus bear the cross alone And all the world go free? No, there's a cross for every one, And there's a cross for me."
"What would Jesus do? Shall I follow His steps?" As I read the book in his steps and am pondering upon this said by a pastor in that book. It struck me a great deal. We are told to bear a cross, are we even bearing it? Must Jesus bear the cross alone? We must resolve to leave everything behind and follow Christ.
"It is the way the Master trod; Shall not the servant tread it still?" This i pray would be my prayer for the coming year and lead a life of discipleship to Christ and to bear the cross daily and forsake all my worldly desires. Amen.
