The White Pele
I saw my mate the other day and he said :" Have you seen the white Pele?"
And so I asked: " Who is he?"
He said: " He goes by the name of Wayne Rooney."

The White Pele saved the blushes of the Red Devils by planting a 76th minute goal past the Boro net to help United earn a point in a game they deserved to lose. Van Der Sar was at his very best keeping out close range volleys and shots and some very difficult goal-bound shots from Alfonso Alves, Steward Downing and former Gunner, Alliadere...

United took the lead from a Ronaldo goal and then Alves equalised and scored the lead for Boro. United were flabbergasted and they stepped on the pedal and this saw United scoring the equaliser. The Roon-aldo combination was once again effective in seeing United snatch a point and remaining 3 points clear title contenders Chelsea.

However, this is not to be taken lightly as concentration lapse were observed in most parts of the matches and United must dump that attitude and take a full force to Old Trafford to face the hearty Italians. Roma are without their influential captain while United are out with their 2 centre backs and their star flipper, Nani.

Sir Alex is certainly relishing another chance to get a taste of European glory since 1999.
