Today, we had a 4C gathering at Ms Yap's house. It's been so long since I saw alot of my friends. Btw, for those 3/4 Cians out there who are still in the dark, Ms Yap is now Mdm Yap/ Mrs Lou. Her son is named Jovi cause apparently Ms Yap likes Bon Jovi.
We had a good time talking and laughing and remembering about our old days back in secondary school. The baby was just sleeping there innocently and rocking away and smiling in his sleep. We had dinner at West Mall and I heard the best story.
A particular someone has parted ways with us and is in a school far away. This particular someone, X, tried out for a program in school and also tried to run for presidency in the committee. X, campaigned and went through election only to receive a pathetic sum of 0 votes even though there were some in the midst of the voters who knew him. The best part of it was X thought he/she had done really well in the whole election and told people that he/she was the president of the club. The exco decided to show some compassion and give the place of the secretary to X. X therefore told the whole world that he/she was running for the place of secretary and got it.
Now from this we can infer alot of things.
X is someone who either already knows he/she had done badly but convinces him/herself that he/she has done well and even told people that he is already the president of that committee. This highlights that X is unable to deal with FAILURE well enough and decides to psycho others into thinking that he is capable but in actual fact is a LOSER.
X is someone who is a very confident person and thinks that he is capable of achieving great things because he/she has achieved great things in their lives. However the sad fact is that people who knew him/her didn't want to vote for him/her because they know that either the great things X has done was through unscrupulous methods or X was just a plain bastard/bitch.
X is someone who can make use of the situation to his/her advantage. X can pretend that he or she is running for secretary and got it whereas he/she was running for presidency and got a pathetic 0 votes.
There are many X living in this world. It's a pity to know that some possess the characters of X in our midst. These malicious, backstabbing bastards who turn on you and bite you instantly are those who are the scums of these society. I hope never to every meet any more X in my life again.
Now on to a lighter note. I felt much younger today after conversing with Jeanie, Sharon, Cherlyn. These 3 are the ones who will make you feel younger and smarter. Just read the examples and you will know why:
