YF Retreat
It was a wonderful experience and I feel that those who missed out on this retreat indeed missed out on alot of valuable lessons. The camp started off with a group of about 12 ppl making the camp booklet. From a DIY to a DIFO's camp booklet. (DIY - Do It Yourself, DIFO - Do It For Others)

First activity, which was we were blind-folded and were required to build a tent. BLINDFOLDED! At first we were all quite lost and we were told we were miles behind the other team. Our CG who were there, mainly, Jo, DC, Jean, Aaron,Amanda,Me, were just feeling around what was taken out from the bag.

After a while, we decided to pray and we were more efficient. There was alot of outside help. We managed to erect the tent faster than the other group and there was a valuable lesson to this. We must seek God no matter how big or small the problem is. I also learnt that we must accept help if we really need it and not doubt those who sincerely want to help us.

Then I went for the exam. Was 29 minutes and 42 seconds late as qouted by the examiner. I was 18 seconds early before I was barred from the exam. The questions for the open book test was relatively easy and then I went home changed and made my way back to the camp site.

We had dinner and then we had a message on fellowship. Notes are below. The message was enriching but rather draggy. Then we split to our Dorm D groups and we started sharing on the message and on our weakness. It was indeed true fellowship other than the fact that me and sloe were fooling around.

Then went home. The stupid bus took so long to come. Something damn retarded happened to me. I went to the berth which help the 960 sign. I was like an ass standing right in front of the queue waiting for the bus. After 5 minutes, I was wondering why no one was joining the queue only to realise that I had missed the last bus. I was comforted by an experience from Hannah Gwee. She told me that someone had to tell her she missed the last bus.. Lol...

Took a train home and then went online and chatted with Gideon and then went to sleep at around 1:42. Woke up late and then I chiong my bath, breakfast and left house without my phone AGAIN. ARGH!!! So retarded lar. I feel damn handicapped. Since I was late, I did my QT on the bus and then I went to the camp site.

Had the workshop and lucky for me, sLoe was there to chill up the atmosphere. The workshop was great and then we split to our CGs and we had a great discussion. Lunch was quite good and then we had activities. Although we failed our 1st activity, we didn't manage to shake off the negative feelings and brought it to our next activity.

After painstakingly trying to secure the base, I was told off by a BITCH!. CHRISTINE! She was like giving poor instructions and then she said I mis-quoted her. Then I was so pissed off that our group's efficiency dropped. At the end we abandoned the plan and we prayed.

During the debrief, that BITCH! decided to hold a separate debrief for our group and she told me to sit on the floor. I did not sit on the floor as I was damn pissed and she said she wanted to talk to me. So I went out. She asked me what my problem was. I was boiling with rage and she was there smiling like a jackass. So I shouted at her and said YOU!

Then the whole argument went out of hand. People tried to tell me I was wrong but they don't see the whole point. It's her fault and everyone is supporting that BITCH!. ARGH! Then we all had a talk, our CG. Then we joined the rest for debrief and then went home. All in all, I will say that our CG has bonded really well and we now know each other better. Praise the LORD!.
